Health Care, Hot Chocolate, & Holiday Cards

The 2022 WV Legislative session is quickly approaching, so let’s make our voices heard & ask our Santa-tors and gingerbread House representatives for the gift that keeps on giving– A healthier West Virginia!

Join us in person in Charleston (with our faces wrapped, and our immune system vaccine-gifted) to share hot chocolate and cookies, discuss the Health Care for All WV 2022 policy agenda, and write some health care holiday cards to send to our representatives, friends, and loved ones. Cards will be available and postage provided, but feel free to bring your own as well! This will be a child friendly space, with activities to keep any littles who attend busy as well. We’ll be gathering at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Charleston at 520 Kanawha Blvd W. The event will run from 6:00-7:30 PM, but feel free to pop in & leave at any time!

If you’re not in Charleston, or not currently attending social gatherings, you can join us via Zoom! We’ll have two of our healthcare coordinators joining virtually to share with zoom participants about our 2022 agenda and help link you up with those policies that would most improve your life, and help you write cards to your representatives from the comfort of your home. We would love to see you show off your holiday decorations at home too! Just like the in person event, feel free to join the zoom and leave at any time, there’s no obligation to attend the entire length of the event.
