Lower Drug Prices NOW by Cracking Down on PBMs!- a Health Care Webinar
September 22, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Why are prescription drugs so expensive? Why are prices rising so high so fast? Well, one big reason is Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs).
I
I
Learn from industry professionals and community leaders how PBM’s work, how they effect the price we pay for our medications, how some PBM’s exploit patients and independently owned pharmacies for profit, and what congress can do to lower prescription drug costs. All are invited to attend.
I
Pharmacy Benefit Managers influence prescription drug costs, determine which drugs are covered by an insurance plan, and pocket unknown sums of money that might otherwise be passed along as savings to consumers. Currently, three PBMs control nearly 80% of the prescription drug market and operate with little oversight.
I
Participants will be invited to Take Action to contact their congress members and ask them to support a recent Senate bill aimed at cracking down on the unfair and deceptive practices of Pharmacy Benefit Managers.
